To be held on April 28^th, 2005 at the Holiday Inn, Eastleigh.  The symposium is organised by the BME sub-group to the HIOW Mental Health Network and addresses race equality issues in mental health.  It is part of a series of events aimed at Mental Health and Social Care service users and providers

To be held on meeting at 2 pm on 9^th June at Havant Civic Offices.  The Hants & IOW Local Government Association has invited Chairs and Vice-Chairs of the Local Strategic Partnerships in Hampshire to attend this meeting.  It will consider the launch of a pilot programme of training and development to help build the capacity of LSPs.  Keith House, ESP Chair, will be attending for Eastleigh.

The last meeting of the ESP Steering Group received a presentation on Equality Impact Assessments.  At the meeting, Steve Willis (Senior Youth Worker, Hampshire County Youth Service) agreed to make available an Equality Checklist.
